The mandatory ‘About’ page
My name is Johan and I’m occasionally a DJ (just like everybody else on the internet) but mainly I’m a music curator. During the day I’m Content Director at the electronic music streaming service DI.FM (at night I mostly sleep…mostly).
I have, however, been putting my various DJ sets online since the early Napster days — which is to say around the year 2000. Some of you old people might remember my early alias ‘DJ Irish’. Ever since then I’ve had this site here for people to listen to whichever mix of mine that seemed interesting.
These days the sets are on this site mainly so I can keep some sort of searchable archive of all the stuff I mix together — browse by genre, by series, or just search for a track. You’ll find YouTube, Soundcloud, Mixcloud links to most, if not all, of the sets.
There is also some streaming going on over at Basspistol and Mixcloud.
The creation of all these sets (and everything else I try to accomplish on this crazy little planet) is fueled by coffee. If you like what I do please consider buying me a coffee to support my addictive behaviour or perhaps become a Patreon (and receive the ability to download sets and get some official thanks in my videos)
